Since young, I’ve been fascinated with illustrated posters. Posters are meant to sell a story, but they each have a story of their own as well; with experience, you can tell from the style and the choice of colours which time period they are created in, or which time period they are trying to evoke.
And I do the best I can to try to match the work I create to a suitable style while still giving the client what they want. You will see in the selection below works that look like they are promoting Pixar films; works that recall children book illustrations at the turn of the century, works that reflect the Psychedelic rock age of the late ’60s, and even works that parody Soviet-era propaganda posters.
That is because I aspire for every poster I create to be a love letter to art.
