A Twist of Fate is a musical murder mystery set in colonial Singapore. The Singapore Repertory Theatre wanted for the promotional materials to feature the main suspects of the mystery, as well as having a classic ‘Cluedo’ vibe. Apart from giving the characters less angular silhouettes, I incorporated Art Deco and colonial Shanghai style into the designs while doing my best to present the dark-comedy vibe that’s inherent in the script.
